Outplacement

Outplacement is a benefit that is offered by the employer to an employee that is being affected by rounds of redundancy. Redundancy is part and parcel of everyday working lives now. It is normal for employees to go through this once or twice or even more in their working lives. However it is still a difficult time for both parties – especially the employee. Outplacement is designed to soften the blow and prepare the affected party prepare for life outside the organization and give them the skills to find their next role. It is not about job hunting only, it is about identifying goals and executing these goals.

He has also worked in the voluntary sector in organizational development and executive selection also. Brian has worked in executive management recruitment, search and selection for over 7 years. Brian is a graduate of Psychology from UCD and a Masters in Work and Organisational Psychology from DCU.
