About Plynk

Plynk was founded in 2015 with the mission to deliver a social payments app built around how people actually share expenses with friends.

The result was Europe’s first money messenger, which launched in the App Store and Google Play in January 2017.

In June 2017 Plynk announced €25 million in Series A funding; one the largest in Ireland and probably the biggest for a firm that counts emojis as a core product feature.

Plynk intends to become a verb in every European language. That means growing the Dublin-based team of executives, engineers, product experts and customer service agents to 50 over the next two years.

Plynk has enlisted RECRUITERS to drive this growth. Co-founders Charles Dowd (formerly of Facebook and IBM) and Clive Foley (formerly of Wonga and Pocket Kings) are looking for problem solvers who’d thrive in an innovation-led environment.
