Accounts Assistant – Temporary Role Initially 

This company is a renowned leader in the area of transport building, and are based in Carlow Town. Due to having taken on lots of new contracts recently with key clients, they are looking to welcome a motivated and flexible accounts assistant to their team for an initial 3-month contract, which is very likely to be extended and may even be made permanent. 

Great, but what would my day-to-day look like?

Managing the day-to-day accounts for the business including reconciliation, trial balances, lodgements and some payroll
Completing some credit control duties 
Using accounting and payroll software effectively
Completing other accounts- and finance- related duties as required

Looks like a fit, now what should my profile look like in order to be considered?

At least 2 years’ accounts/accounts assistant experience
Experience using accounting and payroll software such as Sage
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of the team
Flexibility as regards duties and ability to adapt to change

This role is initially a temporary contract that will likely be extended and ultimately made permanent, and is based in Carlow Town. The role will pay up to €18/hour.
