SentryOne is a new US entrant to Ireland coming in January 2018 setting up their EMEA operations out of Dublin city centre and have retained RECRUITERs to build their initial team here.  Employing over 100 people, they offer Microsoft data professionals an application performance monitoring tool second to none. The solution is able to align with the Microsoft Data Platform architecture by implementing the consolidated lineup of S1 solutions, all of which centre around our Monitor • Diagnose • Optimize (MDO) methodology. Clients are using S1 solutions to regain control of their data systems and move from a reactive to a proactive stance. They have the industry’s best SQL Server and Microsoft Data Platform experts working alongside the most compassionate and driven customer engagement teams in the business. 

The EMEA centre will sell and manage customer success for EMEA clients and as such we are building teams in sales, channel, customer success and application support. We are looking for an Account Executive who will be responsible for helping attract new customers across EMEA. As an Account Executive, you will be dedicated to partnering with prospects to improve the quality of life for companies with Microsoft Data Professionals. This role requires both the ability to be a strategic advisor to prospects as well as driving high volume transactions in sales for their client base. They have a Rolls Royce product in this area that is selling very well in the USA.   


The Job

- Research the EMEA market for top prospects with a focus specifically on direct prospecting and sales to companies within EMEA, predominately the United Kingdom, Germany and the Nordics to begin with to build a consistent pipeline of new business.
- Execute on sales strategy, goals, objectives, and implementation plans to close sufficient new business to achieve sales quotas.
- Proactively prospect and establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts to achieve monthly revenue goals
- Work alongside the Channel Management team to help win prospects
- Collaborate with Marketing on inbound lead engagement and nurturing to establish new sales opportunities
- Communicates with sales leads and customer by phone or email as soon as possible following the initial contact.
- Attends business networking groups representing the company in a positive manner and building relationships with key contacts.
- Consistently and accurately record all sales activities in
- Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods.
- Evaluates and responds to formal Requests for Proposal or Requests for Information.
- Work closely with Sales Engineers to answer technical questions and proactively present the value added our products.
- Execute marketing initiatives in support of sales activities as needed/requested.
- Achieves and maintains rapport with customers and works to give them the best possible service through the sales cycle.
- Works closely with other departments to ensure completion of the sale and/or customization needs.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Demonstrates and maintains a positive attitude internally and externally
- Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace.


They would like candidates with a bachelor's Degree and over 5+ years’ experience in technology sales / Inside sales, ideally within the SaaS space. You will have worked on nurturing leads using or similar. Ideally, you will be conversant with database/data driven technologies and solutions through your previous tech sales experience. You will have a proven track record in new business development, creating leads from your own prospecting efforts across SME and Enterprise.  You must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications as well as web-based presentation software: Go to Meeting etc This is an opportunity to move from inside sales toward client-facing field sales so you will be able to travel 30-40% of the time as business dictates to network and build trust both internally and externally. Experience selling into the Nordics and Germany (as well as language skills) is desirable, but not essential. You will be excited about setting up a new centre and operation and have the flexibility required to see this through.


Salary is negotiable depending on experience levels, track record, language skills and more. A great commission structure is on offer as well as a range of benefits. Bear in mind, this is a greenfield operation being built.
