Experience required:
1-2 year commercial accounts experience in the retail industry.

You have the opportunity to join the finance team of one of the best known retail brands in Ireland. This is a multi-faceted role working within different functions in a busy finance department. You'll be responsible for various forms of reporting, reconciliations and ad hoc work as required. Sounds interesting right? Well keep reading! 

 

What does the day to day involve?

  • You'll be preparing detailed reports for the business - journal postings, balance sheets etc
  • Helping to manage month end, quarterly and year end processes
  • You'll be working closely with other international finance teams
  • Reporting directly to the Department Manager
  • Assisting with budgeting and reforecasting for different cost centres.
  • You need to be flexible with your working hours

Sound great, so what skills do I need to be considered for the role?

  • You'll need to have a degree in business or finance that is relevant to the role- if you're a part qualified accountant then great!
  • Knowledge of the retail industry would be a plus but not essential
  • Familiarity with a face paced, multi departmental position is a bonus
  • You need to be fully competent using Microsoft Office packages with an advanced level of Excel skills.
