What’s the opportunity?

This lessor combines key areas of the leasing procedure, The newly built Transaction Execution team is client facing representatives, primarily responsible for liaising with the existing customer base as well as externally outsourced advisors (law firms), large aircraft manufacturers. This team are of highest importance to the lessor. All team members, of equal importance, work closely with and report directly to the Head of Transaction Execution with spotlight exposure to Senior Management on a regular basis.

An opportunity now exists to join the team on a permanent basis. Based in Dublin, the successful candidate will lead an internal deal team comprised of commercial negotiation, technical, treasury, tax and finance to negotiate and resolve closing matters. Be the driving force behind project managing procedures for high worth transactions seeing through deals through to delivery. The fundamental purpose is to oversee specific requests between contract signature and delivery: modifications, mid-term contract amendments, any change of terms or sublease of aircraft. You will create a best in class technique for responding to requests from both clients and senior internal stakeholders; building and maintaining prompt and efficient project management.

As one of the primary point of contact, you’re responsible in large for the customers’ perception of the company. Strong interpersonal skills should accommodate unwavering customer experience, maximising efficiency in business’ objectives. In this decision making position you’ll regularly present updates and insights on your deals to senior management with confidence, building and maintaining strong relationships.

  • You sit on the Aircraft Leasing Contracts team in a top lessor, top tier Law firm or aircraft supplier. A good understanding and knowledge of the aviation and airline industry is needed to succeed.
  • Proven project management and problem-solving skills (including strong time-management skills) with an ability and flexibility to work to deadlines and across time zones
  • Qualification in an aviation financing, legal or banking with at least 2 years’ post qualification experience in your field.
  • Some knowledge of corporate and asset financing structures is helpful.
