We are looking for an International Spectrum Management Analyst to join our client who is a statutory body here in Dublin. You will report into the Radio Spectrum Advisor and you will play a key role in providing detailed and expert informed analysis in relation to the international aspects of radio spectrum management.

 

Sounds Intriguing….. What will I be doing?

There is a new policy coming to execution and this will involve analysis and policy development as the new legislation is implemented in Ireland
You will support and influence the deliverables of policies and standards already in place
You will develop a detailed knowledge of the technical and regulatory aspects which may impact on spectrum management in Ireland;
You will contribute to consultations and input into require input related to ITU, CEPT and EC outputs and work programs.
You will produce expert presentations and reports as required and be able to liaise, influence and negotiate with stakeholders.

 

WOW, that’s different! So what do I need?

Strong understanding of Irish regulatory environment and economic regulation, wider regulatory, public policy as well as commercial issues and current debates.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to master complex economic and technical issues and to engage in debates with international colleagues on these issues.
Articulate, and can display excellent written and oral communication skills
Stakeholder management should be a refined skill and you will need to be able to adapt to different cultural environments and be a skilled influencer
You will need to be able to produce high-quality documentation and clearly document technical detail into a clear and concise non-technical format and drafting regulatory documents
Experience working as part of a project team is preferential

Technical Expertise:

Wide ranging knowledge of radio communications engineering to at least degree level (preferable);
Comprehensive understanding of mobile communications technology;
Good understanding of the technical aspects of radio spectrum management
