20 years in business and still growing, with over 5 million satisfied customers you will be working with one of the most respected and well-run companies in their sector.  Their Platform is a Learning Management System that enables business’ to quickly upskill employees. The nature of the product allows employees to fit the education into their schedule enabling them to manage their current workload while bettering themselves.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an application support engineer to join their team here in Dublin. You will be based out of their office that is a stone’s throw Harcourt Street.

This role is a great mix of complex problem solving and code debugging and client interaction, no day will be the same and you’ll wonder where the time has gone at the end of each day.

Day to Day Duties:

  • Managing the Support Queue
  • Troubleshooting technical and functional issues
  • Liaising with internal Project staff and R&D personnel
  • Verbal and written communication with the customer
  • Product installation/configuration
  • Debugging/fixing code
  • Managing releases of code patches to customers environment

Essential Experience and Skills:

  • Ability to troubleshoot/investigate complex technical issues
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written
  • Able to work independently and efficiently to provide solutions to technical issues.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, SQL essential
