Business Process Improvement Consultant

Working within a dynamic business division of a boutique consultancy firm, you will be responsible for the evaluation of existing processes and procedures, the identification and implementation of process improvement changes and the design of productivity tools to improve processes to enable best in class service to internal stakeholders and external clients.

Coming from a consultancy or professional services background, you will be degree qualified in Business or Management Science, have ideally undertaken Project Management or Six Sigma certification and have 3+ years hands-on experience in the identification and implementation of process improvements within a business operations or project management function of a global corporation in professional services, financial services or technology / telecommunications sectors. A strong background in the generation of business reviews, presentation delivery and project administration coupled with strong attention to detail and proven track record in the delivery of results to enable the business to improve service delivery

On successful hire your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and manage those within the team, including analysts;
  • Carry out research and data collection to understand the organisation;
  • Interview the client's employees, management team and other stakeholders;
  • Run focus groups and facilitate workshops;
  • Prepare business proposals and presentations, POC documents.
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients;
  • Implement recommendations/solutions and ensure the client receives the necessary assistance to carry it all out;
  • Manage projects and programmes;
  • Lead and manage those within the team, including analysts;
  • Liaise with the client to keep them informed of progress and to make relevant decisions.
  • You will need to be technically astute with very strong experience with SharePoint, PowerPoint, Project and Excel.

To be considered for an interview, your background, skills and experience will include:

  • 3rd Level Qualification in Mathematics or Finance.
  • Qualified ACA / CIMA professional examinations
  • The ability to communicate with clients, colleagues and management to explain complex issues clearly and concisely.
  • Experience of the Aviation leasing sector would be an advantage
  • 3-5yrs work experience in Finance or Mathematical Modelling.
  • Analytical mind with a head for numbers.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Problem Solving and Strategic Planning ability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Informed commercial awareness and understanding of business environments.
  • Ability to work in a demand-driven environment with clear deliverables and deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
