This is a nationwide offering, centrally located in Kilkenny, with an extensive partner / dealership network through multiple industries and locations. The focus has been, and will remain being through this period of investment and expansion, on making the process as seamless as possible for both the customer and the vendor.


Offering a range of products to suit dealer-vendors in industries from forestry to farming to hospitality, businesses partnering with SME Leasing can offer a stress-free HP/leasing solution to their customers, increasing sales and driving revenue. To ensure clients are always receiving the best possible service, are fully supported and engaged with in a meaningful way, updated regularly and client accounts are managed, nurtured and assisted in every possible way; the company are looking to welcome a customer-centric account manager to their team based in Kilkenny.


This is an office-based role bridging account management and sales. Supporting a field-based network of colleagues, your activities will focus on ensuring regular and managed client contact via phone, email and CRM tools. With further opportunity here to present an additional service to a unique portfolio of firms, you’ll also have the chance to help build a new client base of professional service firms.  This role is an incredible opportunity to leverage your deep account management skills to drive inside sales and new business around a niche finance product.



The day-to-day…


This is an office-based role, heavily focused on professional, warm phone and email communication to existing clients.  You’ll take control of managing a regular client contact schedule, diarising and logging account calls, keeping in contact with field sales teams and exchanging valuable and relevant information with them.


This activity will be based around account maintenance calls to existing clients, updating and cleansing the CRM system and researching and qualifying new leads.


These activities will require a constant level of customer awareness and engagement, proactively anticipating clients needs keeping in regular contact via phone and email.


 The new opportunity sits with a unique offering within the business which is not managed by the field-based team, and can provide a wonderful opportunity for you to develop some of your own client portfolio

Work closely with your accounts in a useful way to manage information on the quality of prospect being passed along to improve their business.


Achieve targets as regard account growth and business in the professional services space being on-boarded and approved as clients.




The person…

You will need a real drive to build relationships, foster and grow existing clients, and build new business in an exciting niche area.
You’ll enjoy account management, relationship building and being able to offer your customers the best solution for them, based on your knowledge of their business, but will also have elements of a “hunter” mentality - looking to develop an existing warm market.
A sense of commitment and investment is important here. This company value their employees highly and are always thinking of the bigger picture. You should be prepared to want to grow and be in control within a supportive environment.

This role is office-based, at HQ in Callan, Co. Kilkenny, and will offer a great package based on experience, including a compelling base salary with performance-based bonuses. As the company grows, this role can transition into 100% business development, sales team lead or account management lead, depending on the person abilities, strength and goals.
