Contracts Administrator - Wicklow - €32-35K


Here’s a great opportunity for someone to join a really successful consultancy business (historical/construction related), to work in an office based, project coordination role.

Your background for this role is likely to be quite varied, and will involve having excellent communication and organisational skills; be capable when managing a very fast moving set of requirements, and underpin this with a commercial appreciation of common business demands.

To provide some background, this company employ approx 70 people and is a leading organisation providing archaeological services both in Ireland and in European sites. A compact, office-based team handle the coordination and support of these sites, and this role is focused on the control of commercial administration associated with the various sites/projects.

With multiple sites ongoing at any given time, you can expect a busy role, with strong attention to detail and access to work with company directors in an expanding environment.


Here are some specific duties:  


·        You’ll be office based, working with directors and site managers on a project at both tender stage and sites which are live and in progress.

·        For the tendering stage, you’ll be tasked with gathering and providing pricing, presenting information, and confirming rates etc.

·        With live sites in operation, you’ll be ensuring that the relevant invoices are organised, debtors are managed etc.

·        You’ll communicate on a daily basis with project managers on site and naturally the directors. Essentially, you’re supporting both the progress and the control of spending.

·        Job tracking, which is similar to some of the tasks above, so as costings are associated with various sites, this must be accurately and carefully recorded in order to invoice clients correctly.

·        As all sites vary in focus, location, duration etc you’ll encounter some unique / ad hoc admin support required, so you can look forward to this from time to time!


This is a busy, fast-paced office with clients and sites to balance. It’s a great opportunity, and this role will likely suit someone keen on a project management career, or indeed someone with genuine exceptional, practical approach to efficient administration, top-notch communications skills.
