Corporate Sales Executive

This is a role key for someone currently working within a professional sales environment, with approx 2+ solid years’ experience and a keen desire to progress this career within a highly consultative, very well-established team. The product is within the world of cloud-based technologies, and this team are part of a 500+ organisation, Irish owned and re-sellers and partner to global household name technology enterprises.

New roles don’t arise very often within this team! With a group of approx 12 team members (in this part of the company), and many with significant tenures, you have an excellent environment around product and knowledge-based learning in addition to very significant existing accounts. The environment is one of a highly collaborative approach with a focus on excellence, delivery and long-term growth.

This role requires someone who is very comfortable within a commercial and sales environment and brings with them an ability to manage a 360 sales cycle and engage in a consultative level with their clients. You’ll be stepping into a situation where you’ll have the opportunity to handle much of the (for now!) lesser complex elements of some of the existing teams accounts, along with well strategized, networking and marketing focused business development to further expand these accounts.

  • This is a highly collaborative environment, with existing accounts to both work with and develop.
  • New Business Acquisition is typically approached in a strategic, well executed manner. You can anticipate plenty of networking and meaningful client facing activity, enterprise account research and development and the following of marketing generated leads along with working with existing partners. Zero random cold calling!
  • The focus and products are around managed services, consultancy, large scale projects so significant “client delivery” appreciation will be key. You should appreciate this element of client services and enjoy it.
  • The company services the UK and Ireland. Whilst the majority of your activities will be Dublin centric, there may be opportunities to both service and travel to UK based clients. Once up and running, you should anticipate a high level of client site-based engagements in the immediate territory, and there is naturally flexibility afforded within this sales unit to be sensibly managing your diary. (You will need a driving licence).


What About You?!  Well, you should certainly be committed to a long-term career in sales. This role will bring your consultative skills to a new level and provide access to longer scale lead times and larger order values. This is a means to transition from more transactional sales into enterprise sales, with superb products and support. You’ll be within a highly professional, mature environment. You’ll likely have 2-3 years successfully selling and appreciation of cloud-based services.
