This growing company provides a much in demand lending solution to the SME market in Ireland and indeed globally. With the benefit of extensive experience in the finance and accounting industry, their management team are passionate about offering best-in-class leasing and hire-purchase solutions.

This is an office-based role dealing with various departments including underwriting, account management and client services to reduce the instances of defaults, and recovering payments. This person will leverage their second-to-none communication skills to work with customers, vendors and external partners to begin, administrate and bring resolution to the arrears and recovery process. of an audit.

What will my day look like?

  • You’ll be managing relationships with various existing clients 
  • Assist with the completion and administration of recoveries
  • Refer to, and work closely with, the underwriting and proposal departments to aid decision-making
  • Work with internal and external company representatives to help reduce instances of default and adhere to all regulations as regard  persuing and recovering  loan amounts
  • Join in with the wider team to build out new and improved processes around the management of instances of arrears

What skills do I need to be successful?

  • You’ll be an approachable but firm and detail-focused, and be able to proactively identify accounts moving in to arrears, or likely to move into arrears, to be able to deal with the situation as soon as possible
  • You’ll be able to think outside the box to identify ways of contacting the customer in order to open up a conversation with a view to resolution.
  • You’ll understand the importance of administration and keeping the CRM system up-to-date as regards accounts in arrears  - if an audit is conducted, it’s imperative that all attempts to contact the customer, and any conversations have been recorded properly
  • You’ll have an adaptable communication style, and be able to recognise when to use the more consultative, and when to use a firmer approach
  • You’ll be flexible, and open to going off-site to meet customers when needed, and happy to support other department with their workload as needed

This is a permanent position based in South Dublin with travel.
