European Sales Executive

The global teched market is a major force, and this Irish owned company is proving a huge player within it. With a workforce of approx 30, and both partner and direct networks through Ireland, the UK and the Netherlands, this role will handle direct sales in all these markets. The product is robust and really well supported, both internally and via a network of key global technology companies. With huge investment in quality and sustainability, there are huge leaps made to date.

Within the direct sales team, you will be supported heavily by the marketing/lead generation team who generate extremely high volumes of inbound enquiries. These enquiries are then passed directly to the sales team, who work through contacting and converting. The product is sold directly to individuals (so this is strictly speaking a B2C sale). However, this is a significant investment, and directly related to professional advancement and therefore many conversations are of a consultative, professional focus around value, future benefit and also, crucially, capability.

For success in this role you should be a disciplined sales person with the capability to work to clear and defined achievable. Strong personal organisation to manage the leads provided and being able to identify both immediate and future sales opportunities. This is a high value sale, with AVO’s of approx €5,000. Familiarity with consultative, fluid, well managed conversations are key. From the moment you engage with a potential customer, you will be representative of the quality of the team and product, and indeed yourself – all of which contribute to long term sales success.

TECHNOLOGY – this company is firmly positioned within the global technology industry. With established and ongoing connections with household tech companies, you should ideally have an interest, or existing knowledge, to understand the space.

CAREER – the majority of your clients will be considering this educational product as a career / professional investment. Any knowledge that you may have in global career markets, the recruitment industry, the value of training are typical of some of the subject matter that you may be engaging with.

CONSULTATIVE SELLING – Your leads are supplied, but you will be the first direct engagement that these potential clients will have. These conversations and successful sales are heavily consultative, and you’ll be trained on developing the correct knowledge to explain course content and technical content. This shouldn’t prevent you from being able to identify genuine immediate sales and collecting more long-term opportunities also. Prepare for substantial talk time, direct contact, and monthly targets.
