Iconic Irish business with significant global operations are seeking a newly qualified accountant to take on a commercially focused role within their finance team.

Currently operating from 19 subsidiaries worldwide with state-of-the-art facilities, this company requires a commercially minded, ambitious individual to take on a key role to ensure the continued growth and success of their business.

 

An insight into the day to day….

•             Maintenance of Group Inventory, ensuring accuracy and completeness

•             Accurate allocation of stock costing for weekly and monthly management accounts 

•             Liaising with the Procurement Team on inventory related items

•             Preparation of support schedules for key accounts in the Balance Sheet

•             Preparation of month and year end files for review by Financial Controller

•             Dealing with internal and external auditors as required

•             Sales and profitability reports on a weekly and monthly basis and sales performance analysis 

•             Assist in all areas of budgeting, forecasting and preparation of strategic plans, including the coordination and maintenance of the budgeting model

•             Forecast calculations including recommendations on provision levels

 

The candidate….

  • ACA qualified (ideally Big 4 trained)
  • Cost accounting experience highly advantageous
  • Commercially minded with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a busy challenging environment
