This Irish start-up in scaling rapidly and is working with some of Dublin’s most well-known and respected companies to build and implement their digital and cloud strategy. To round out their offering from a data compliance point of view, they are looking to welcome a GDPR analyst to their team in South Dublin to analyse and improve clients’ data protection and compliance plans and processes. 


Great, but what would my day-to-day look like?

·      Assist in carrying out data audits onsite with clients - document processes and procedures to see how clients are currently handling data 

·      Write reports to demonstrate current data handling and identify key areas of improvement 

·      Develop innovative and easy-to-implement processes and improvements for improved client services

·      Analyse business operational performance for clients and use quantitative results to enable strategic decision-making around data

·      Own and develop the relationship with partners to optimise and enhance  integration

·      Help design, document and maintain system processes 

Looks good so far, but what should my profile look like in order to be considered?

·      Bachelor’s degree  qualified

·      At least a year’s work experience, ideally relating to report-writing, data management and documentation

·      Experience in analytics (good Excel, SQL)

·      Understanding of data protection legislation (GDPR)  - previous training in this would be ideal

·      Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

·      Strong attention to detail and good negotiation and presentation skills

This role is based in Dublin South, with some travel to client sites in the Dublin area, and is permanent. The salary offered is between €30,000 and €40,000 depending on experience, plus bonus. There is also a clear path for progression to senior analyst and then to consultant, and opportunities for training and upskilling in data and GDPR.
