HEAD OF TALENT ACQUISITION - IN-HOUSE

This is an end to end recruitment role with daily operational responsibilities as well as providing business and recruitment strategy.

As Head of Talent Acquisition you will demonstrate your ability to operate in a fast-paced environment leading a high-impact and agile talent acquisition function. You will use your strategic insight to position your company as the employer of choice for candidates in their chosen field. You will be responsible for sourcing talent for immediate needs as well as understanding workforce planning and longer term requirements.

To be considered for interview, your skills and experience will include:

  • 6+ years of talent acquisition and management experience
  • 3+ years of experience devising and leading talent strategy in a fast-growth tech environment
  • Experience with employment branding, innovative sourcing strategies, and building a robust pipeline of diverse talent
  • Passion about data and metrics, and experience creating and managing a context of decision-oriented data
  • Experience with social media campaigns
  • Experience in workforce planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.

On successful hire, you will:

  • Ensure that the Talent Acquisition function is fully aligned with the vision and strategic plan
  • Design and implement a `best in class` Talent recruitment strategy
  • Proactively network and build relationships to secure key talent and capitalize on first mover advantage
  • Provide direction and consultation to the executive and senior managers on strategic and emerging employment trends
  • Be responsible for employer branding and innovative candidate sourcing strategies
  • Develop our graduate programme recruitment strategy
  • The design of innovative sourcing strategies to attract candidates from within the marketplace in a cost effective manner
  • Develop strong awareness and understanding of the business and functional areas of responsibility to target and hire best talent
  • Work in partnership with hiring managers, providing guidance, support and recommendations on candidates for interview.
  • Ensure efficiency in time to hire is maintained, while maintaining a high level of accuracy within the Applicant Tracking System
  • Design resourcing plans, define role requirements and develop innovative sourcing options including networking, headhunting and building talent pools
  • Negotiate rates/salaries, present and sell candidates within their business areas to Hiring Managers, ensuring that all processes are followed in line with the agreed methodology
  • Provide a high level of candidate care and ensure frequent communication is deployed (e.g. debriefing candidates, keeping candidates `warm`)
  • Monitor the service delivered by 3rd parties, identifying and resolving issues or escalating as appropriate.
