The time is right for an enthusiastic HR Specialist to join their Dublin workforce! You’ll be responsible for responding to employees and managers regarding complex and highly sensitive Employee Relations issues, interpreting policies and processes, investigating disputes and recommending the company’s response.

The role responsibilities:

  • Advising and counselling employees regarding a broad range of complex employee relations 
  • inquiries and HR policies and processes.
  • Coaching and counselling managers on employee relations issues, including assistance with 
  • administering Performance Improvement Plans and Corrective Action Plans. 
  • Handling most aspects of involuntary terminations for employees. 
  • Conducting investigations into employee or manager complaints that are escalated from the HR team.
  • Performing employee relations administration activities, focusing on solution delivery of an 
  • exceptional experience for the organisation’s employees. 
  • Responsibility for keeping appraised of regional legal and regulatory issues that affect 
  • employment and recommending appropriate modifications to existing policy and practices as 
  • needed. 
  • Deriving relevant management implications from inquiries to identify key insights across the 
  • business and relates these observations and potential solutions to the team
  • Partnering with HR Advisors in the local centre.
  • Consulting with colleagues in other regional centres.
  • Liaising with Legal and other departments as required. 
  • Responsibility for implementing necessary policy and process changes in partnership with legal team. 

The ideal applicant:

You’re a seasoned HR professional, with at least 4 years’ Employee Relations experience working in a fast paced multinational environment and accustomed to a high volume of work. You bring with you a working knowledge of Employee Relations and Irish Employment law, ideally with a CIPD or Human Resources Degree. You have experience and confidence working with confidential and sensitive cases. You can advise senior leadership with expert knowledge of employment law and possess the confidence to challenge upwards wherever necessary. You have an analytical mind-set and understand the impact of HR business processes for the overall success of a company. You’re eager to get involved in high level employee relations on a global scale.
