HR Business Partner – Cloud Start-Up

This is a newly created role.  My client has established a sales and marketing hub in Dublin, and have recently announced the creation of 40 jobs across sales, marketing and professional services over the course of three years. They also plan to hire people internationally, especially in breaking into the US market. This appointment will be the sole person in HR for the company.   

A minimum requirement is a background working for a cloud based software company.  The company needs you to educate them on how to grow a company in the SAAS / Cloud space.

To be considered for interview, your skills and experience will include:

  • 3rd level qualification in human resource management or related discipline
  • 3-5 years plus relevant experience in human resources within a SAAS / Cloud environment. 
  • Some international experience desired as the company sells into the US / Germany / Chile.
  • Extensive experience in a high-tech company with annual growth greater than 30%, scaling and be able to contribute to strategies to enable scaling
  • Working experience in organisational development, design and more
  • Experience in both recruitment and operational HR activities
  • Excellent communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills
  • English as mother tongue. Knowledge of another language is a plus i.e. Spanish or German but not a requirement
  • Strong Office Suite/Google Drive understanding

On successful hire, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement the company’s overall international HR & people strategy from organisational design to sourcing activities.
  • Advise on HR activities in Ireland, Chile, Germany and USA i.e. performance reviews etc
  • Prepare contractual documentation, induction, payroll data management etc
  • Job Analyses and prepare job specifications in accordance with the specific needs of the company
  • Manage recruitment activities and processes for all countries
  • Manage relationships with related vendors (accountant, recruitment agencies etc)
  • Manage internal communication strategy
  • Manage the company L&D strategy
