iOS Engineer – Connaught
This company’s mission is to develop best-in-class technology, services and processes to connect people with products and services in disruptive ways. They are at the forefront of ecommerce technology and are partnered with some of the world’s biggest consumer brands. To continue to offer the best and most flexible service to their customers, this company are looking to welcome an iOS engineer to their team based in Ireland’s North West.
Sounds good so far, but what would my day-to-day look like?
Working collaboratively with a dynamic global team of developers to build out the AR functionality of desktop and mobile applications
Discovering and evaluate the latest innovations in the iOS ecosystem
Adding new features, integrating SDK’s, working on clean code and increasing the app stability
Enhance existing applications with new features and better UI
Designing to cater for high-traffic
Working with a cross-functional team of UI and UX designers, BA’s testers and developers
Striving for robustness, usability, and reliability in software
Great, now what should my profile look like in order to be considered?
At least 3 years’ experience in iOS development (even better if it’s in an eCommerce technology background)
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar
Strong understanding of Swift, MVC, Interface Builder and Cocoa API’s
Experience consuming data from REST services
Knowledge of mixed reality technology would be ideal, but isn’t a requirement

This role is based in Connaught in Ireland’s north west, and is flexible on salary, offering between €50K and €80K depending on experience. It’s an incredible opportunity to join this rapidly-scaling tech organization in a fantastic location.
