This company has been one of the market leaders in e-commerce for almost two decades. Having set up their R&D Lab in Ireland a couple of years ago they are now looking to expand their development team as they have some really interesting and heavy-duty projects in the pipeline. You will work in the Augmented reality team tasked with improving their Augmented Reality platform allowing them to continue to offer the best experience in e-commerce.

Your role will be to work in a team researching and developing new tools and technologies that will improve customer experience and fundamentally change how people shop online. This role will allow you to use your development skills and creativity, lots of interesting problems and to solve, rewarding and fulling work to say the least.

What You Should Have - if you're missing one or two pieces below - don't worry, if you're good they know you'll get up to speed quickly

  • 3 - 5 years' of software development and coding experience -preferably in Java SE or Java EE
  • Experience developing RESTful web services 
  • Solid SQL ability
  • Experience with Object Relational Mapping (ORM) tools, especially Hibernate
  • Experience with Tomcat would be great
  • Proficiency with IDE-based development in Eclipse or IntelliJ
  • Working with Version Control tools such as Maven, GIT, SVN or CVS
  • Experience with JMS queue, familiar with the usage for producers and consumers
  • Proficiency building unit tests/integration tests using JUnit
  • A Deep knowledge of AR/VR technology would be great but not essential.
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent field
