My client globally dominates their industry by leading the service provision of the world’s fleet and mobile workforce management solutions.

Right here in Dublin, they are the definition of an Irish success story and they continue to grow a team on the cutting edge of the smart transport market, developing IoT technology - think drones and self-driving cars!

They require a junior .NET developer to join a team responsible for delivering their Field Service Management product. This role is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious engineer to join an expanding R&D team in a hands-on development role in Dublin. The successful candidate will play an important role in contributing to the future technical state of a world class SaaS product.

Sounds like my kind of company; the role too – but what are the specifics?

  • Develop efficient, reusable and performant code
  • Integrate UI and back-end .NET systems
  • Identify and address performance issues
  • Participate in code reviews and design workshops
  • Collaborate with Product Designers to implement the next generation of Fleetmatics products
  • Conduct research and Proof of Concepts on emerging technologies
  • Develop tests cases and write unit, integration and automation tests
  • Work as part of a cross functional agile development team

I can do that! So what are the requirements?

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ years of programming experience
  • Knowledge of common design patterns in distributed systems (e.g. REST, SOA, SaaS, web applications)

What’s the total package on offer?

Competitive base salary negotiable, with excellent benefits including health insurance, pension, generous holidays, paid maternity and paternity cover and educational assistance to name but a few of the other little perks and benefits.
