SentryOne is a new US entrant to Ireland coming in January 2018 setting up their EMEA operations out of Dublin city center and have retained RECRUITERs to build their initial team here.  Employing over 100 people, they offer Microsoft data professionals an application performance monitoring tool second to none. The solution is able to align with the Microsoft Data Platform architecture by implementing the consolidated lineup of S1 solutions, all of which center around our Monitor • Diagnose • Optimize (MDO) methodology. Clients are using S1 solutions to regain control of their data systems, and move from a reactive to a proactive stance. The EMEA center will sell and manage customer success for EMEA clients and as such we are building teams in sales, channel, customer success and application support. We are looking for a graduate from computer science with 12-24 months experience in technical customer service and support to take responsibility for owning customer problem resolution across EMEA clients.   The Technical Specialist, under general direction, provides first and second level support to end-users for premier software products that optimize the performance of Microsoft SQL Server environments. In this role you will interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problems. You will recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties and recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.



·         Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with 1-2 years’ experience with SQL Server including installation, configuration, TSQL coding, performance monitoring and tuning

·         NICE TO HAVES: Not essential but would be great is some experience with SSRS management and development, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server 2012+ Always-On technologies

·         Experience with Windows Server including domain security, WMI and DCOM configuration, storage management, and batch process scripting

·         Familiarity with IIS 7.0, 7.5, computer hardware including the ability to carry on an intelligible conversation concerning server and storage hardware, virtual environments (VMWare/Hyper-V), C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, JQuery, ASP.NET MVC, debugging tools (WinDBG, ProcDump, etc.)

·         A commitment to customer service

·         Knowledge of further European languages is a plus



Microsoft Certifications Preferred - MCSE, MCITP, MCDBA, MCSD, MCPD, MCSA
