Recruiters are proud to represent this company, a top provider of IT outsourced solutions, and are looking for a Level 1 Support Engineer to join an existing team in Dublin City Center.  

The main responsibility, but not limited to, will be upgrading the company system to Windows 10 (laptops and desktops) and also some data and applications. It also will be requested to deal with customer IT queries for first line support, using your judgment and experience to diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and identify and escalate complicated or specialised situations requiring urgent attention.

  • Analyse and resolve end-user IT faults, ranging from a major system crash on IT equipment to a forgotten password
  • Monitor and update call logging system, ensuring customers receive top level service
  • Provide "how to" assistance on all internally supported devices, applications and systems to troubleshoot the end user’s issue and resolve upon first contact, Monitor and update call logging system
  • Excellent understanding of PC hardware/software and the Windows/Mac OSx operating systems. 
  • Daily use of the Ticketing system, reporting bug reports, solutions and other information, knowledge base management

Professional requirements:

  • Upper-Intermediate, conversational and IT-professional English language skills
  • Experience in IT operation
  • Network knowledge
  • Skill-level detection and resolution of software and hardware issues in workstations
  • High level of knowledge about Windows (including the upgrade to version 10) and OS X desktop operating systems
  • Skills in using desktop management systems
