Working really closely with your marketing manager and operating within primarily a B2B environment, your activities will be involved in a range of products, all with a similar focus. The product here is a scientifically related ingredient which is used within the manufacturing field. The main purpose of the role and is the drive a large-scale rebranding project with all related marketing, social media and communication activities.
Whilst a scientific background is certainly not necessary for the role, you should prepare yourself to be immersed in the fascinating (and enormous) world of nanotechnology. This is an incredibly innovative achievement and the team here have been receiving accolades and attention for the breakthrough.
The core fundamentals for this role are rooted in traditional marketing. By providing a positive, capable and engaged support for the compact team, you’ll look at activities around PR / traditional marketing, trade shows, working with agencies, being involved with product launches and content management. You’ll bring with you skills of equal creativity and discipline along with some understanding of digital campaigns, excellent copywriting skills and imagination and positivity.

You’ll be joining a compact team within a high growth, early-stage business. This is a brilliant platform to see first-hand the marketing development for a new, yet rapidly scaling, product.
The marketing activities are B2B focused, with international markets in. Event attendance, looking at messaging /content / supporting product launches and coordinating multiple activities are key. You can expect a lively, highly busy environment. This product does have a Consumer end user, so whilst you’re not selling to them, you should be able to bear them in mind!
We’re looking for someone whose attitude and proactivity may possibly outweigh their experience. In short, if you’re looking for a break, or a move into a role with exposure, freedom to make decisions, a great manager to learn from and an extremely strong, definite product – then here’s your chance.
The science piece can be taught to you, so please don’t feel this is necessary. The background of working in a B2B environment, with exposure to multiple aspects in marketing and an appetite to learn more will be the winning hire.
You – You should be committed to a marketing career, ideally coming with at least 4 years’ experience. The team are supportive, ambitious, professional and keen to attract like-minded individuals. There is a great leader in place, and some travel involved. This role will pay up to €60K annualised (pro-rated for contract)
