Experience required:
7+ year’s technical and business delivery experience at Programme/Project Manager Level.

We are looking for a Programme Manager to join a leading technology provider who specialise in Transport Infrastructure Technology and smart mobility solutions. They have a number of work streams in the Irish Business and they have a challenging and diverse Programme that will involve the programme manager to be hands-on, and manage both the programme and projects across 6 work streams.

This role will work directly with the CEO in delivering a Transition Programme.

 

I’m interested, what does the day to day look like?

  • You will work with Senior Leaders to scope and build transition project plans, this will include; Head of Technical Services, Director of Finance, Director of Operation and Head of HR.
  • You will put in place an organisational strategy that will address contract exit across business streams
  • You will be a key negotiator with both internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners
  • You will look at project workstreams that are varied including Intellectual property and Budgets, a stream to look at the systems, servers, and contracts with vendors, HR, and Internal Impacts, Transfer of assets and audit compliance.
  • Ensure that project vision and goals are clearly defined
  • Define program roadmap and project plans, roles and responsibilities and communications plan
  • Lead the project methodology and governance, ensuring that templates and work instructions are clear for all project phases and deliverables.
  • Ensure that issues and risks are actioned and mitigated in a timely manner
  • Creation of and regular publishing of status reports for management stakeholders
  • Facilitation of client workshops to present and achieve stakeholder consensus on business approaches, requirements or plans.

Sounds great! What do I need?

  • PMP / Prince2 certified or similar qualification advantageous, Relevant 3rd level qualification essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to strict programme/project guidelines essential.
  • Capable of drawing upon own resources and industry experience.
  • Experience of Multi-Project/Programme Management and/or of implementing IT solutions, redesigning processes and procedures in line with the smooth transition from one business to another essential.
  • Minimum 7+ year’s technical and business delivery experience at Programme/Project Manager Level.
  • Excellent leadership experience, team management, working across multiple work streams
  • Experience of managing multiple stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
  • Strong systems integration experience.
  • Second European Language a distinct advantage.
