What’s the opportunity?

Fantastic, award-winning Software as a Service (SaaS) co. in Dublin city centre is a leader in its field globally with huge client list of companies using its software to charge their own growth and customer loyalty. Continually expanding, with big focus for 2019 on US and German markets (having already done well in Ireland and UK), it needs a strong, strategic, online bookings specialist – a commercial marketer; technically minded with a customer interaction background and competitive edge with a sales mentality to drive revenue targets.

You work on the team managing the biggest revenue-generating product in the business (Online bookings) and are tasked with driving customers adoption of it as an amazing value add which most still aren’t using. The position will best suit somebody coming from a start-up environment, i.e. bringing a mentality of creative ideas which will yield growth. Ideally, have experience in online bookings and liaising with a dev team on product development.

Sounds absolutely perfect for me. What can I expect to be doing every day?

  • You will liaise with the Dev team regarding revenue-focused ideas. It’s not a sales role but is a revenue-generating role so you must have a mindset geared towards commercial objectives
  • On the Ops side, you will be looking at conversion rates for products, using Google Analytics and the tools available to analyse, report, and effect change
  • Support colleagues in Ops and Sales – regarding the widgets and targets
  • You are responsible for a large amount of project work, questioning “how we get all of our top customers using this tool?”. And, “what do we need to change to get them utilising online booking?”, etc. etc.

What requirements must I satisfy as a strong applicant?

  • Be experienced analysing conversion rates, using Google Analytics, and creatively leveraging data to produce revenue-focused ideas in collaboration with Developers
  • Bring an operations approach and technical mindset to liaise between Sales, IT, Ops, Marketing, and Customers. You must display customer interaction in your background (-v- all back office work)
  • Ideally – be experienced in a start-up environment in a position which straddles marketing and sales and liaising with developers on revenue-generating ideas
  • Ideally, come from an Online Booking background. This is the company’s biggest revenue-generator, yet underutilised, so there’s opportunity for steep growth and success for you
  • You must be ambitious to build your own career, on award-winning team, in a fun and growing SaaS
  • There is a huge amount of project work involved – questioning how and what to drive adoption so you must be comfortable driving on across concurrent work
