  • Bonus potential of 5% of basic salary – this is subject to group, company and individual all achieving pre-agreed objectives.
  • Pesnion 5%
  • Annual leave entitlement will be 23 days a year.

The opportunity:

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially focused  Risk Specialist. It will be your job to take the reins on the development of on-going and specialized business risk (operations and compliance) programs to ensure compliance & regulatory adherence to obligations is at the highest standard

The job:

  • Implementation of all compliance programmes across the business with support and direction from the compliance function. 
  • Acting as the first point of contact for the team on all compliance and regulatory matters and escalating to the Compliance team where appropriate.
  • Act as the key point of liaison between the business and the Compliance and Risk teams
  • Working with the business and internal Compliance and Risk teams to ensure policies and procedures are implemented effectively.
  • Development and management of key compliance and risk management information on the adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular risk self-assessments with managers across all the functions.
  • Project manage compliance and risk deliverables.
  • Review, analysis and delivery of improvements for existing
  • As an established Risk Assurance Specialist, you act as the liaison between an established and growing compliance function and a growing number of Business Units supporting the delivery of exceptionally high compliance standards and evolving best practice.

To be successful in securing an interview, you should have some or all of the following

  • Insurance products and Financial Risk experience
  • Proven track record in a compliance role within Financial Services.
  • Progression towards ACOI / LCOI (desirable)
