They are now expanding their payroll team to service the 2000+ employees.  The role is suited to a post grad with 3+yrs experience in a multinational environment.

To be considered for interview, your skills and experience will include:

  • 3 years + experience in a large payroll dept with 1000+ employees. 
  • German Speaker.
  • Knowledge of local legal requirements including Ireland and Germany - statutory forms and reporting
  • Solid administrative skills with knowledge of MS Excel
  • Analytical mind with a will to resolve issues efficiently
  • Understanding of and following procedures and HR practices. 
  • Working knowledge of Workday HCM platform preferred.
  • Exposure to Hypo tax calculations 
  • The ability to understand the importance of escalating issues that sit beyond the scope of the role.
  • Working knowledge of Workday, ADP Streamline

On successful hire your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Process payrolls in accordance with local country requirements
  • Validate and submit payroll files from HR and time tracking systems
  • Populate additional pay and personnel data into templates for payroll processing 
  • Ensure all equity transactions are captured and processed within the pay periods 
  • Complete month end payroll activities 
  • Ensure that monthly and yearly local tax payments and compliance requirements are met 
  • Assume accountability for ensuring sufficient controls are in place and implemented to capture changes month over month and any differences are reconciled and explained 
  • Schedule, facilitate and participate in payroll-related meetings and presentations 
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to internal and external agencies and local government authorities
