Product Manager  - Software Company (South East)

This organisation is a real Irish success story, offering financial and payments software solutions to high-profile companies in multiple industries and has bases in Ireland and across Europe. Due to unprecedented growth in 2018, they are looking to expand their team by welcoming  a passionate and skilled product manager to their base in the South East. The ideal person will be excited about working for a tech-focused indigenous company, a great communicator, and very much a team player, with a relentless focus on the company’s product roadmap.

Great, but what would my day-to-day look like?

Set roadmap deadlines and goals for the engineering team
Communicate roadmap progress consistently to senior management, internal teams, partners and customers, and keep an eye on competitors to decide the future of the product
Plan new product roadmaps and manage the backlog
Break the roadmap into manageable deadlines
Be part of the leadership team to decide on strategic next steps for the product

Looks good, but what should my profile look like in order to be considered?

4-5 years relevant experience in a product owner/product manager role, ideally with a growing software product company
Experience around B2B product leadership
Strong knowledge of product management methodologies (Agile/Kanban)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong negotiating skills and the ability to gain buy-in from a variety of stakeholders

Looks like a fit! What else do I need to know?

This role is permanent, based in Ireland’s sunny south east, and will pay a competitive salary that’s commensurate with experience. The company offers lots of opportunities for self-improvement, advancement and progression, and is a great opportunity to work with this hugely successful, indigenous organisation.
