Sales Director – International


A well known and established organisation, with excellent system and supports internally, has an opportunity for an experienced sales manager to lead and contribute in growing a substantial number of their markets. The industry is similar to online advertising, and will require a confident, proven sales professional with knowledge and success in managing an inside sales team ( your headcount will be about 20 on commencement with a view to grow, so you’ll have to have managed similar numbers). The markets, whilst well established and performing to a high level, still provide extensive opportunity to expand, so you’ll have a great opportunity to make a significant impact. The infrastructure here is well supported, you’ll be carrying the P&L, but will have divisions manging the reporting functions, payroll, HR etc, leaving your time primarily focused on the commercial development and team expansion. For some further information, and potential interview I’d love to discuss more with someone who can fulfil the sales management requirements, has a focus on securing experience within international markets, and emerging markets, is confident enough in their abilities to take on reporting into board level and delivering accurate forecasts and targets along with a sense of adventure in relocating to an international location. Excellent package along with relocation awaits. Ideal start date JANUARY 2019, interviewing immediately in Dublin.


Some more details:

• The current team is 20 heads. This consists primarily of individual sales contributors along with the necessary support staff. You’ll be a hands on people leader, albeit with the assistance of a manager and team lead and work closely with your team to maximise efforts and delivery.

• The business is an online service. (similar to advertising). Ideally someone coming from a similar background, or recruitment related, will have the right knowledge to succeed.

• Exposure to having run your own business, or carried a team number is crucial. You’ll be presenting to board on a regular basis and also representing the business in your territory. Confidence. Capability and credibility with both your peers, your team, your clients and your CEO is a factor to think of.

• Availability – ideally (not a deal breaker), this role will be occupied by Jan 2019. It’s an overseas move, so think carefully about your ability to commit for a period of time. • A full relocation package is applied, with housing allowance and car allowance. Basic salary approx €80 with additional bonus potential.
