Join the global fintech PR firm as senior leader at its EMEA/APAC HQ. Take the lead as second most senior in the here in Dublin. Work for a company which represent the world’s top FS and high-growth, global, tech start-ups which are regularly raising $multi-million investments through Initial Coin Offerings (ICO). Your function is as leader, account sponsor, team mentor. Be the strategic, creative thinker and problem-solver; step in to assist with ideas and crises. The team of Account Managers (4-5) will refer to you if they need a higher-level view, welcoming your expertise and fresh perspective. You are a vital presence for team and clients alike. You sit in at ‘kick-off’ stage, to help with initial relationship development, and ongoing as point of escalation and security.

What are the day-to-day expectations? 

  • As active senior leader and presence in the agency, you run daily morning catch-ups with each team
  • Constantly focused on ensuring best writing style, best approach to media, how to talk to clients, how to say things, etc. -training as required and being consulting on queries from account managers and their teams
  • Client-facing, you are on the ‘kick-off’ call with all new clients – providing the voice of authority and reassurance as sponsor assisting with who will step in when necessary throughout the client’s lifecycle
  • As strategic, problem solver and creative thinking extraordinaire you bring fresh input to campaigns
  • Whist not having your own client-list, you provide huge support by developing processes and ideas
  • Business development – being open and skilled as a networker and supporting the Dublin MD to in new business meetings / presentations
  • Recruitment – help define it with focus to bring in great people, maintaining the team calibre

What skillset and background are sought?

6-7 years recent agency experience, ideally in Corporate PR, as a leader. You should be familiar with global media and experienced developing relationships there. You must have some current focus on team development and evidence your mentorship and sponsorship of both internal team and client accounts. Good interest in technology and change are important. As is experience with international clients. You should have the gravitas, tact, and approachable nature to allow a team feel they can come to you with anything and know you will add value, insight and solutions, with encouragement.
