Recruiters are looking for a Senior Events Manager / Employee Engagement Manager to work for a client of us based in Cork. Senior Events Manager / Employee Engagement Manager will be responsible for successful delivery of talent development and engagement events. Role has primary responsibility for delivering events locally and regionally as needed, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience for participants. In addition, the candidate will support global process alignment across programs and work as a member of a team representing key sites in every region. Events delivered by this team span new hire orientation programs, recent graduate development programs, top talent programs, leadership development, and other talent-related events. These events require interacting with local leaders at all levels who speak at events, and with participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Successful delivery of multiple events at the local site and regional sites as appropriate, success measured by program participation level, feedback surveys, and NPS scores
  • Effectively leveraging prior program participants and other local volunteers as needed to support the delivery
  • Working with the local team to ensure events have all logistics covered, which may include: facilities or venue; food; audio-visual equipment; content readiness; leadership/speaker readiness; invites and feedback surveys o Working collaboratively with a global team to ensure global process, consistency and high quality
  • Understanding and accommodating local nuances and cultural differences that make impact site-level activities o Primary responsibility for planning, execution, metrics and continuous improvement of our program delivery model
  • Providing reporting as needed on key and shadow metrics to ensure programs meet and exceed internal customer expectations

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years relevant experience or Master’s degree and 4+ years’ experience
  • Demonstrated track record of expert stakeholder management o Expert program management skills
  • Proven ability to work successfully with leaders at every level of the organization
  • Experience in facilitating events o Ability to effectively develop and maintain working relationships across all regions
  • Strong skills with MS Office Suite required. Powerpoint & Excel are critical skills
