Events & PR Executive - Software - LONDON BASED ROLE - International Travel

What's the opportunity?

Join one of Ireland's best and fastest scaling software (SaaS) organisations as Events Lead. Based in London (work from home; with fully furnished home office provided) and travel to Dublin and through the UK regularly. You may also be available to travel to Australia once or twice per year. Important to highlight that travel must feature on your dream job priority list. And then you must have two years experience in events, including writing press releases and good understanding of producting content for social media. This will be the career-defining, move of your life in the very . Your reputation will be built on it! You must be absolutely fantastic at what you do - somebody who eats, sleeps, breathes events and PR and just loves the satisfaction of planning and hosting great events and executing on media and sponsorship. You take over from somebody who has done a phenomenal job and is being promoted internally and moving internationally. So the role is all laid out for you - processes are in place and success has already been achieved so you join now to take over and drive on!

What's the day-to-day / my purpose in the role?

  • Organising internal and external events including major tradeshows and our own annual summit
  • Coordinate events admin and logistics 
  • Developing and managing sponsorships of events
  • Doing PR - research, writing, distributing and targeting press releases
  • Working with Sales to further execute theirs and your own work

How will my CV display a good suitability to interview?

  • 2-3 years in events and PR; agency experience will be reviewed favourably!
  • You should have good writing, be supremely organised and absolutely target-driven to want to get things done.
  • You have to be sociable, empathic and persuasive (to get other people to get things done)
  • It must be clear that you have a flexible attitude - can take to the large amount of travel - and be successful within that opportunity

Salary is commensurate with experience, around £35,000. There are some great accompanying benefits. Your travel and expenses are covered. As are your laptop, phone, and home-office desk.
