This is a commercially focused, management role which will position you in a superb, owner managed environment with one of Irelands leading communications provider. This long-established team are providing nationwide communications support to (primarily) the SME sector. The products / services encompass cloud security, telecoms, helpdesk and security etc. With a team of nationwide engineers constantly handling client requirements, the company director would like to appoint a new position.

This position will directly manage this team, and from an analytical viewpoint commercially control the productivity and performance of the team. On a day to day basis, this involves excellent coordination and commercial/financial awareness along with keen communication, strong discipline and decision-making capability.  You can expect a really active work environment, an expansive portfolio of clients to engage with along with new onboards regularly. It will also be a role with a lot of communication involved, both to the field / office-based team and the other parts of the business.


On a day to day basis what will I be doing?

  • This part of the business offers both office and field-based support to clients. The activities of the field-based team are the primary focal point.
  • You’ll be a core point of contact for them, and provide a commercial management role in the performance and efficiency of response and delivery to clients, along with the profitability of the function.
  • You’ll work at a senior level with MD, looking at improvements, SLA’s, delivery and company performance for this function.
  • You’ll be making smart, quick decision on route planning, guidance, time and efficiencies on site, problem solving and margins.

This role is a senior hire, and integral to the growth and ongoing development of the business. The company is based in Waterford, and some nationwide travel may sometimes be involved
