This Technical Writer role will be the first of its kind so you will get to help form what the role looks like. You will create curriculum and instructional material for clients and colleagues on how to use the application. You will also support the creation of marketing material for Product management, sales and marketing.

Sounds like what I’m looking for! What would my day-to-day look like?

  • Designs and produces knowledge and learning materials in a variety of formats including print, graphics, audio, video, animation, and multimedia to support teaching, learning, and information needs across the organisation.
  • You’ll be a real people person and demonstrate good stakeholder management skills.
  • Organise, create and provide access to diverse digital information.
  • Manage the overall design, layout, and operation of knowledge repositories as required.
  • Work with subject matter experts to understand the technical components and get sign off on content.

Sounds perfect! So what do I need?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a similar related subject.
  • Will have over 4 years’ experience in technical writing, ideally within a software product domain, and have some knowledge of one of the following:
  1. Core networking principles or Networking Software 
  2. API's
  3. Machine Learning 
  4. Cloud Services 
  • Comfortable with all types of technology with a particular technical competence in knowledge repositories and systems.
  • Can communicate effectively in project or team meetings and one to one situations.
