One of the country’s leading technologies companies has an immediate opening for a highly experienced Strategic Account Manager. Within the predominately wholesale division you will have full strategic ownership of our client’s largest accounts and play a crucial role in leading the account plan.

You will have the autonomy to drive the tactical and strategic relationships, in line with overall company goals, with our client’s largest accounts. The relationships you manage will be at Board level.  You will be well rewarded for an experienced, strategic input with a handsome salary, package and commission structure.

To secure an interview, you will need to demonstrate excellent negotiation and organisational skills. The position requires someone with the presence and credibility to be taken seriously whilst gaining companywide commitment to delivering each account strategic account plan

On successful hire, your tasks will include:

  • Developing and driving strategic account plans for nominated large accounts in line with company strategy
  • Leading the tactical and strategic relationship between the company’s largest accounts
  • Creating, managing and leading Board level relationship and engagement with the company’s largest strategic customers
  • Interpreting the strategic drivers of the customer and aligning their strategy and tactical actions to the company’s business lines and providing direction internally on the company’s own strategy plans
  • Analysing customer data trends and client performance
  • Designing and building the communication plan and governance structure to maximise relationship mapping, and managing the executive sponsorship programme for each strategic relationship

The successful candidate should have some of the following experience and attributes:

  • 5+ years telco experience, ideally within wholesale however not a necessity
  • Be in equal and high measure customer focused, results focused and business focused
  • Favouring to take a strategic perspective and have an advanced command of strategy and planning
  • Be an outstanding team player with influencing and winning commitment
  • A problem solver and an innovator with notable business acumen 

Package: Salary in the region of €60,000 – €80,000 region + commission + bonus structure + perks!
