WORKFORCE OF THE FUTURE OD LEADER

We now require a Thought Leader in Organisational Development to work with the Head of HR to position the company and the workforce in a prime position to optimise commercial and career opportunities for everyone.   You will be supported an encouraged to use modern learning techniques to enable a digital age workforce evolve. 

On successful hire you will assume responsibility for:

  • Assume accountability for delivering a best in class OD strategy with a key focus on Management Development.   
  • Demonstrate your ability as a “thought leader” in progressive OD to influence and coach at “C” Level.
  • Embark on a journey of change with a willingness to lead from the front as a very active and hands-on OD Professional.
  • Craft a language around OD that encourages a high performing workforce to engage with HR and work towards achieving common business objectives. 
  • Work closely with the HRD to deliver initiatives around TA, L&D and progressive HR programmes.
  • Develop a toolkit for managing change.
  • Engage with the Senior Leadership Team to influence positively on the people strategy.
  • Consult and advise senior managers on initiatives to drive high performance.
  • Measure the impact of learning interventions on key business metrics.

To get this job, you will have the following competencies:

  • Self starting individual who is highly motivated and enthusiastic with a proven ability to deliver results in a fast moving and challenging environment
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills coupled with a refined Organisational Development / Training skillset
  • Acute commercial awareness with the ability to create a HR environment that impacts directly on the financial performance of an organisation. 
  • Degree qualified with CIPD or IITD membership.
  • 10-15+yrs experience in the design and delivery of strategic HR programmes.
  • Proven track record in striving for continuous improvement and driving efficiencies, whilst maintaining high levels of employee engagement.
  • Previous experience of budget setting and management.    
  • Demonstrable track record of operating in a Senior hands-on Learning function.
