Our contracting division continuously strives to present all of our clients in a professional, enthusiastic way and provide an honest platform for our contingent workers to ask the questions and get the information that they can sometimes struggle to get directly on-site at our client's premises.

1. Key Service Highlights

Sourcing and Onboarding:

We source, select and deliver hand-picked passive and active contingent workers that consistently meet our clients’ skill requirements within agreed SLAs and KPIs. We have been generously awarded for our sourcing skills since we opened the doors in 2006.

Performance Reviews:

We conduct quarterly performance reviews with hiring managers and our contingent staff alongside regular contact and touch points. Our dedicated contracting team are available at any time, Monday-Friday. 

Training Requirements: 

Our experienced contracting team, led by the multi-award nominated contracting manager Sarah Pope, help determines any training requirements and roll out training schedules, performance and objective plans. 

Social Events:

One of our values is fun and this comes to fore in the many social events we run for our contracting community. This helps our contractors feel part of a community that drives team spirit and success. Our calendar of events includes our renowned summer parties that our clients are also encouraged to attend.

How do we achieve such great results for our clients?

Planning:

Client involvement, communication and satisfaction at the planning stage are paramount. We understand that we are representing our clients and their brand at organisational and reputational levels.

Sourcing:

Data plays an important role throughout our recruitment process both in the identification and sourcing of potential candidates within our market-leading CRM system and also our online and offline advertising campaigns.

Communications:

All candidates who have expressed an interest in our clients’ roles receive prompt notification of receipt of their application, in line with GDPR, and also receive estimated response times relative to findings from the planning stage. This ensures that the expectations of all parties are managed and your employer brand is protected. 

Screening:

We combine our quantitive data with qualitative reports on candidates’ competence, organisational and cultural fit, along with key selection criteria.

 

3. Onboarding Contingent Workers

Our proven onboarding methodology ensures that our contingent workers understand our clients business requirements, project requirements, specific culture, personnel mapping and key relationships. 

RECRUITERS manages the entire onboarding process for it’s clients, thereby saving them time, money and effort. 

Offer made and contract issued:

All contingent workers are invited to our office for negotiation, acceptance and signing of the employment contract for service. 

Employed by RECRUITERS:

New starters are taken through RECRUITERS’ in-debt employee handbook. Set-up options are discussed in detail with the contingent workers and all administration of doing so is taken care of by our dedicated contracting team.

In-Life Care Model:

Our Contracting Care process, points of contact, terms and conditions and performance management processes are all explained in detail and questions answered in full. 

Payroll and Tax

All questions around payroll, pensions, and tax are answered by our in-house payroll and financial consultant. The finance team is always available to assist our contingent workers with their financial and/or company set up questions and queries. 

Many of our clients also take advantage of our outsourced payroll service, for all of their on-site contingent workers.

4. Contractor Maintenance & In-Life Care

Our in-life programme ensures that contingent workers understand our client's specific culture, business requirements, and relationships. 

Our contracting care model is made up of six key stages:

1. Contractor meeting:

We meet all successful new contingent staff on-site to ensure they are all settling in well and have no ramping up concerns. 

2. Hiring manager meeting:

At the approval of hiring managers, we can meet each hiring manager to agree on a framework for managing the on-site contingent workers.

3. Performance reviews:

RECRUITERS can also conduct quarterly performance reviews with on-site resources and the relevant team managers to ensure our contingent workers are meeting their objectives and project responsibilities. Any issues are identified, discussed and proposed solution plans put in place.

4. On-site meetings: 

RECRUITERS can be on site weekly or at the request of contractors and their hiring managers. This ensures that any issues or concerns are unearthed and dealt with promptly and efficiently without causing any project delays.

5. Payments:

Our dedicated team is in weekly contact with contingent workers to answer questions on payroll, timesheets, expenses, revenue/tax and general administration questions. 

6. Offboarding

RECRUITERS provide and manage the entire off-boarding process with any of our contingent staff when required by our client and with minimal disruption to their teams.

Internal performance measures:

Quarterly reviews:

Reviews are used to measure internal staff performance against KPIs agreed during their 12-month induction training programme. 

Weekly one-to-one reviews:

Our weekly performance review meetings with internal staff ensure that each consultant at RECRUITERS is on-track to achieve their KPI targets.

Key KPI measures including:

Activity KPIs: Number of submittals, shortlisted, interviewed and new starters on each site. 

Quality % KPIs: Failure to start rates, first-time quality and successful finisher rates per project.

Speed KPIs: Response times, contractor and CV submittal time and time-to-fill ratios.

Cost KPIs: Starts at/below max rates.
