Policy Objective        

Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) company policy refers to our responsibility toward our environment, industry, stakeholders and customers. RECRUITERS existence is based on numerous interdependent relationships and therefore we feel it important that our company’s internal values and ethics are externally focused as well.

Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) company policy outlines our efforts to give back to the world as it gives to us.

This policy applies to our company nationwide across all levels of employment.

Policy Elements

RECRUITERS want to be a responsible business that meets the highest standards of ethics and professionalism. Our company’s social responsibility falls into two categories: compliance and proactiveness.

  • Compliance refers to our company’s commitment to legality, National Recruitment Federation (NRF) guidelines and code of conduct and a willingness to observe community values and ethics.
  • Proactiveness is every initiative we undertake to promote human rights, help communities and protect our natural environment.

Compliance

Legality

We will continue to act in accordance with the governing law of the State and encourage employees to report any breaches of such whether intentional or unintentional.

RECRUITERS:

  • Respect the law
  • Honour its internal policies
  • Ensure that all its business operations are legitimate
  • Keep every partnership and collaboration open and transparent

Business ethics

RECRUITERS always conduct business with integrity and respect for human rights. We promote:

  • Safety and fair dealing
  • Respect toward the consumer
  • Ensure staff will not act in biasness when interviewing with regard to the grounds of discrimination: marital status, family status, race, age, religious belief, sexual orientation, disability or membership of the travelling community
  • Anti-bribery and anti-corruption practices

Protecting the Environment

RECRUITERS recognize the need to protect the natural environment. Keeping our environment clean and unpolluted is a benefit to all. We’ll always follow best practices when disposing of garbage.

Protecting People

RECRUITERS ensure that we:

  • Don’t risk the health and safety of our employees and community; and
  • Support diversity and inclusion

Human Rights

RECRUITERS is dedicated to protecting human rights. We are a committed equal opportunity employer and will abide by all fair labour practices. We’ll ensure that our activities do not directly or indirectly violate human rights in any country (e.g. forced labour).

Proactiveness

Donations and Aid

We support numerous charity events and will continue to contribute to good causes, including a collection at Christmas for those less fortunate.

Volunteering

RECRUITERS encourage its employees to volunteer. Employees can volunteer through programs organized internally or externally. Our company may sponsor volunteering events from other organizations.

Preserving the Environment

Apart from legal obligations, RECRUITERS proactively protect the environment. Examples of relevant activities include:

  • Recycling
  • Conserving energy
  • Encouraging the use of and providing reusable cups for beverages
  • Using environmentally-friendly technologies
  • Striving for a paperless office

Supporting the community

RECRUITERS actively support the community. We have done this and will continue to do so by attending, running and supporting job fairs and open days and used our expertise as recruitment professionals to coach, prepare and assist communities that struggle with unemployment or need assistance with job searching.

Learning

We actively invest in learning and development of our staff. We are always open to suggestions and listen carefully to ideas from all employees, clients and candidates. RECRUITERS try to continuously improve the way it operates including running internal workshops on customer and external stakeholder experience.
