Job Title: SDET - 12 Month Contract - €315/Day

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Engineer Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in software testing, including frontend, backend, and automation testing. You will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of software quality by designing, developing, and executing test plans. Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, you will identify and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop Test Cases: Create test plans, cases, and scripts based on product requirements.
• Frontend and Backend Testing: Perform functional, integration, and regression testing, ensuring quality across both the frontend and backend.
• Automation & CI/CD Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts, improving efficiency and coverage within CI/CD pipelines.
• Manual Testing: Perform manual testing when required to ensure thorough evaluation of the product.
• Bug Tracking and Reporting: Log defects in the tracking system, providing detailed steps to reproduce and collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
• Release Planning: Collaborate on release planning, ensuring smooth and timely rollouts of features.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to ensure quality at all stages of development.
• Documentation: Document test results, create reports, and provide feedback to improve testing processes.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-3 years in software testing or quality assurance.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong experience in SQL for frontend and backend testing.
• Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium.
• Familiarity with C# or Java.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• CI/CD testing knowledge.
• Experience with release planning tools like Stash.

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks effectively.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Certifications such as ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications.
