As a Technical Team Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding core product offering and working on major client projects.

As a Technical Team Lead, you will assume responsibility for:

• Lead a team of software engineers in delivering complex workflow and document management applications for our Government Solutions division.
• Ensure the overall quality of the team’s technical deliveries, emphasizing test coverage, code quality, and adherence to best practices, including security.
• Plan and oversee the execution of development sprints, ensuring accurate effort estimation and high-quality delivery of agreed-upon sprint outputs.
• Produce technical analysis of existing complex, multi-component systems and architectural designs, integrating them with Propylon applications.
• Collaborate with the Government Solutions team’s management to ensure designs are technically robust and aligned with the company's strategic direction.
• Work with a cross-functional team, including project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to provide accurate estimates of development efforts.
• Be the team’s technical authority, providing guidance and direction to junior developers through pair-programming and code-review sessions.
• Provide one-to-one support and mentorship for individual team members to upskill and progress in their engineering careers.

To be considered for interview, your skills and experience should include: 

• Professional Python programming experience, ideally 5+ years.
• Professional experience with Django/Flask or equivalent Python-based web or API scaffolding framework.
• In-depth knowledge of the Python ecosystem, tooling, and best practices.
• Proven technical team leadership experience, ideally 3+ years, with demonstrable experience managing the planning and delivery phase of complex software implementations.
• Strong technical background, with extensive experience in a software development role delivering complex, multi-component software solutions.
• Experience architecting complex workflow systems.
• Experience in developing complex software applications under strict deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice to Have(s):

Experience with Docker, AWS, GitHub Actions, and other DevOps related services.
