Over the past weeks and days and going forward, RECRUITERS has been paying close attention to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic and closely following public health guidance published by the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as our Government and Health Service Executive.
This is a challenging time for everyone and we are beginning to feel the impact on every aspect of our daily lives. Covid-19 is a significant threat to many and we have to play our part in helping to reduce the spread of the virus. Just like you, the wellbeing and safety of our people is our priority and therefore we have taken steps to protect our people and follow public health advice.
We have enabled remote working for all our people. On Thursday, March 12th, the management team conducted a successful business continuity exercise at RECRUITERS to ensure all our people can work remotely in a secure environment with tested access and performance of our remote operational and communication cloud-based tools and technology. We have also installed an upgraded firewall and VPN to ensure the safety and security of our database and files.
In the midst of chaos, there is positivity to be found if we look for it. Join us and #Recruitpositivity! Eoin Fallon, on our sales & marketing recruitment team, just secured a new job for a great candidate, Lauren, with one of our valued clients. A great addition to our client's team and RECRUITERS' first remote work placement with all interviews, presentations, co-ordination and agreements made through video and other remote tools at RECRUITERS' disposal.
We have always been committed to making business more human and right now that seems more important than ever. Thankfully, we've been able to take precautions to keep ourselves and neighbours safe by working remotely.
Our investment in technology over the years has helped us stay connected in this transition as we navigate new working environments. Staying connected as a team is vital! The team at RECRUITERS is still here for all of your recruitment needs. If you have any questions about your vacancies or upcoming interviews, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with your account manager.
We also have some helpful resources available to help employees and employers remain engaged and productive in their daily activities while working remotely:
As Ireland's most trusted recruitment partner, we promise to maintain our high standards of service to our clients and candidates. Remote working is now our default and all client or candidate meetings will be taking place in a video conference or over the phone until further notice. Our availability and ability to help you will not be unaffected and all our teams will continue to work normally to support you and your business and career objectives through this very difficult time.
The business challenges that we are facing are unprecedented and managing the months ahead will be very difficult. My colleagues and I in RECRUITERS are here to help you through these challenges and we will use our knowledge and experience to support you.
I sincerely hope that you, your families and friends stay safe and well over the coming weeks. It's important we all stay positive and help each other in these difficult times.
