Our client is a well-established Irish insurance broker, known for delivering outstanding customer service and a supportive work environment. They’re looking for a Personal Lines Advisor to join their Claremorris office — someone who loves talking to people, building relationships, and making a real difference for clients.

 

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the team, helping clients with all their personal insurance needs while promoting and generating new business. Your days will be varied and rewarding, combining client interaction with administrative support and business growth.

 

Key responsibilities:

• Promote and generate new business across all personal lines, including motor, home, farm, van, health, and marine.
• Handle policy queries and updates, ensuring client needs are met.
• Support the annual renewal process and help maintain client retention.
• Manage day-to-day administrative tasks for personal lines policies.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities by discussing other insurance needs with clients.
• Deliver an excellent client experience through face-to-face and telephone interactions.
• Work collaboratively with your colleagues to achieve team goals.
• Ensure full compliance with CBI, CPC, GDPR, and internal policies.

 

About You

You’ll be confident, approachable, and enjoy engaging with clients in person and over the phone. You care about delivering a high level of service and want to grow your career in insurance.

 

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in personal insurance, ideally in a broker environment.
• APA qualification ( working towards) ; CIP is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer-focused, proactive, and flexible.
• Comfortable working onsite 5 days a week and interacting directly with clients.
