As a Personal Injury Claims Handler, you will manage a full portfolio of motor injury claims, ranging from moderate to complex. This is a proactive, investigative role where you’ll take ownership of files, drive decisions, and work closely with multiple stakeholders to bring cases to resolution.
What you’ll be doing:
End‑to‑end management of personal injury claims from first notification to settlement
Proactive investigation — reviewing evidence, researching claim details, and contacting relevant parties
Acting as the point of contact between customers, solicitors, medical experts, and the IRB
Assessing liability, indemnity, and quantum with strong technical judgement
Maintaining accurate reserves and meeting diary deadlines
Working collaboratively with senior technical leads and contributing to continuous improvement
3+ years’ experience handling Personal Injury motor claims
CIP qualified and compliant with MCC
Strong technical understanding of indemnity, liability, and quantum evaluation
Confident communicator with the ability to negotiate and manage multiple stakeholders
Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing a busy portfolio
Someone who thrives in a structured, supportive, high‑performance environment
