Sales Executive - Commercial Insurance

Are you a motivated sales professional with a strong commercial insurance background? My client is looking for a driven individual to join their team in an client visits/on-the-road advisory role, handling larger policies and new business opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with sales advisor or junior sales experience to grow their career in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

 

If you’re comfortable with targets, confident in sales, and enjoy building relationships, this could be a great role for you.

 

Salary: €45,000 - €50,000

Bonus: Around 14K OTE

Location: Navan, you will cover Navan area and surroundings area but not much further.

 

What you’ll do:

• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets in Personal and Commercial business, including new business and renewals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and third parties.
• Manage larger policies while identifying potential new customers for business development.
• Operate in line with company standards.
• Collaborate closely with local financial advisors to enhance overall service delivery to customers.
• Continuously improve personal sales skills, technical knowledge, and industry expertise.

 

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in commercial, agricultural, or insurance sales.
• Full APA (Commercial Insurance) and CIP qualifications preferred.
• Strong commercial and insurance knowledge.
• Excellent relationship management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet research, and e-learning.
